My order # is 205176654253935 just to prove that I have received wrong items. Similar items were sent but not what I ordered even not asked if it not available .its cheating customer . Be careful when you order anything from them

I have dealt with this company for last several months and at the  beginning things were satisfactory and even during the first Covid period they  were really caring  customers by communicating with them about 2-3 times a day and inform the delays ,cancellations etc. Also quiet a good quality products were at that time available for purchasing. 
But the things have deteriorated DRASTICALLY DURING LAST FEW MONTHS  and low quality products are introduced, Items not delivered on time and when inquire customer care people they do not know the delivery status. Third party poor quality  courier services (LK-DEX is still BEST) are assigned ,sometimes items misplaced and Daraz had to give a refund. What the customer care people are doing is simply forwarding  a auto-generated e mail like puppets in a show without understanding the customer's problem.
I have an issue where I cannot view or go to my shopping cart even though I can log in and browse products. Issue  was properly communicated to Daraz ,several auto generated e mails were sent to me and supervisors promised solution-(This is a technical issue at their end) WITHING 24 HOURS  but now do not answer their mobiles even. As a result could not purchase anything under their 5 year anniversary advertising in a big way. TOTALLY DISSATISFIED.
Being as one of the Marketing Professional in Sri Lanka,  I requested whether I can talk to their expertise  Head of Marketing (I do not want to mention names) but it is banned. They seems to be  hiding  and what type of Marketing they are talking of. I think this is like  Cheating the customers.
Anyway, I want to share   my experience about Daraz and best is to avoid them unless you do not have any other place to buy and feel that a smart competitor will defeat them if Daraz is not keen to put shortcomings right. They can contact me if interested.

We ordered a blender for Rs15000 and received it yesterday. It was very cheaply made with thin metal and plastic. The rubber around the top lid was missing and gave wired noises when tried to blend something in it. It was like it was just about to explode. Never buy electric items from this horrible people. They deceive you big time with beautiful pictures, but the real product is nothing like what's shown in their website.

I am really disappointed with your service as you had been asking me to wait day by day for my printer exchange but nothing happened.
As I informed you repeatedly, I needed the printer urgently & I understand that it is my fault in the first hand, to order a wrong model.
But I had been dealing with several ecommerce companies in Sri Lanka & as an example, Daraz would credit back the full amount within a few days if the item is returned in good condition (no questions asked !!).
But in this case, I didn't even open the package & called you as soon as I received the item. I also requested for an item upgrade, instead of the refund & I was even ready to bring back the item to you & then receive the new item, after paying you the balance. But now it had been a week since I asked for this exchange. This wasn't my first order with takas.lk as well but this was my first experience with an item exchange.
I purchased a new printer today since I do not value your words anymore. I checked with several vendors & they had the printer available & it was not unavailable for the past few days as you informed me. I never expected such service from a company once ranked as the No.1 Start-up in Sri Lanka.

Since I now know how your service is, I will never order from you again & encourage anyone who reads this, to find an alternative (there are plenty).

When you order a new product, they will deliver you a broken, old, rusty product. When you return the item asking them to either send you a new product because that’s what you ordered, or request for a refund, they will reject your request and will send you the broken rubbish again! Don’t waste your money to buy rubbish from these people and their customer service is just like their products, just Rubbish!!

Listing items not in stock. I purchased a samsung soundbar on 3rd of April 2021, and it took them close to 2 weeks to inform me that they cannot process the order due to unavailability of items.

This is a very unreliable e-commerce platform. My money (Rs 140000.00) was also blocked this whole time while I could have purchased something else from another vendor and now they are saying it takes upto 5-7 days for the refund process.

If the seller (Max Lanka) did not have items in stock, Daraz could've informed me sooner without blocking my money this whole time.

It was my first purchase from Daraz, and I will not use their garbage platform ever again, where they allow sellers to list items that are not in stock. Very unreliable and a disappointing service.
